Peak Land Lives

Peak Land Lives is a small part of a project called “Landscape at a Crossroads” which is a 5 year £3.9m scheme funded by the Heritage Lottery fund. The centre is running this project with local authors, historians  and photographers Christine Gregory and Sheila Hine. Tracing changes in farming since the second world war. We are currently interviewing farmers , highlighting major changes in the South west Peaks farms and looking at factors that have affected farming during this period. We look forward to producing an exciting book as the culmination of this project during 2018 so watch this space
