What is The Farming Life Centre all about?<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We are a vibrant farming charity supporting people living and working in the Peak District.  Our office base is in the Agricultural Business Centre in Bakewell where we are well placed to support farmers going about their business at the Livestock Markets each week.<\/p>\n

Our work is mainly based around the areas of farm business support and promoting good physical and mental health.  Please see individual pages for details.<\/p>\n

Maintaining a healthy farm business along with remaining physicially and mentally well is so important in enjoying a good quality of life.  All of us go through times when we find ourselves struggling in one of these areas but without the right support at the right time, it can quickly impact them all.  We are here to support farmers and rural residents in maintaining overall wellbeing by being there when you need us.<\/p>\n

Our team are all from farming backgrounds and have a unique insight into the problems faced by farming and rural communities.  We have a weekly presence at Bakewell Market and try to attend events throughout the year which serve as natural gathering opportunities for the farming community to share information about what we do.<\/p>\n
